Eligibility – Can I apply for PgMP® Certification?
Note: There are no pre-requisites for attending PgMP® Training
For PgMP® Certification Exam, here’s the eligibility criteria:-
For Graduates
- Four-year degree/Equivalent Graduate Degree
- Minimum 6,000 hours (Five Years) of project management experience
- Minimum 6,000 hours (Five Years) of program management experience
For Diploma Holders
- Four-year degree/Equivalent Graduate Degree
- Minimum 6,000 hours (Five Years) of project management experience
- Minimum 10,500 hours (Seven Years) of program management experience

PgMP® Exam Fee
PgMP® Exam Fee can be divided into two parts:-
How can I become PgMP® Certified – Road map to become PgMP® Certified Professional
- Enroll for PgMP® Training
- Fill up and Submit PgMP® Application Form Online
- On PgMP® Application Approval, Make Payment for PgMP® Exam Fee to PMI®
- Evaluation 1: Panel Review
- Once you make the PgMP® Exam Fee Payment and Your application is approved, a panel of volunteer PgMP-certified program managers will assess your professional experience based on your inputs in the Program Management Experience Section in the PgMP® application.
- Once you Pass the PgMP® Panel Review, you will be eligible to take the examination
- This process takes approximately 3-4 Weeks to complete.
- Evaluation 2: PgMP® Exam
- PgMP examination consists of 170 multiple-choice questions.
- Four Options to a Question and only One Option is correct | No Negative Marking for Wrong Question
- Of the 170 questions, 20 are considered pretest questions & these questions do not affect the outcome of the exam
- Schedule PgMP® Exam via Pearson Vue Center-based testing (CBT) in your region
- Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, there is an option of Proctor based Online Exam as well
- Exam Duration – 4 Hours
- No Scheduled Breaks in between. If you take a break, your exam clock still continues to count down.
About PgMP® Training – Content | Duration
- Duration: 30 Hours (LIVE Instructor led Training over Internet) | Five (05) Weekend Sessions @ 6 Hours per session
- Timing: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
